Hi! My name is Rachel Beckey (I just got married, so you might know me as Rachel Anderson). I’m so excited to be starting work at Peachstate! Peachstate is where I completed both a Level 1 and Level 2 fieldwork while in OT school, so it holds a special place in my heart. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) in 2021 and my Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in 2024. 

 

Some of my favorite hobbies are scrapbooking, playing my trumpet, kayaking/paddle boarding, and hiking. I first became passionate about therapy when I was 11 due to having to undergo lots of therapy as a result of a tethered spinal cord. Since then, I have been passionate about helping kids reach their therapy goals!
